The Movements of Taoist Self-massage

 


Face Massage
Ear Drum
Eyes Massage
Teeth Massage
Nose Massage
Intestinal Massage
Kidneys Massage
Foot Sole Massage

Face Massage
Rub the face 18 times with circles towards the inside and 18 times towards outside as if washing the face.

Ear Drum
Place palms on the ears, fingers lay in the back part of the head; strike with the index whipping on the middle finger 36 times noticing the eardrums vibration.

Eyes Massage
With heels of the hands on the eyes and the fingers upward, massage ocular globes 18 times with inward circles and 18 times with outward circles.

Teeth Massage
With mouth closed, hit incisors teeth (front) 18 times and with molars (back) 18 times.

Nose Massage (nasal partition and Zu Tai Yang)
With the external side thumbs phalanges on both sides of the nasal partition, massage 36 times on both sides of nasal partition with downward and upward movements.

Kidneys Massage
With the hands pressing on the kidneys area use inner movement from top down 36 times.

Intestinal Massage
With left hand over the right hand on Tan Tien, massage the intestines first clockwise, 18 times and then, switch hands and repeat other 18 times counter-clockwise.

Foot Sole Massage (Yong Quan each foot)
Place left barefoot on the right thigh and massage the sole of the foot (bridge or Yong Quan 1R point) with the end of the right hand fingers 36 times rubbing with forward and backward strokes. Switch foot and hand; repeat 36 times.
